Over the skirt and a lower skirt during cold days, women used to wear a skirt called "vunenka" (a type of wooly skirt). It was made of monochrome handmade texture of different colours, most often red or cherry colour. Later on, this type of skirt was made of manufactured fabric called "šiška-mariška". On its lower border there was a "brush", one to two centimetres wide. On the one side it was combed and thus looked like a brush, while on the other side it looked like a cloth shoelace, which was the part that was sewn on the lower border of the skirt.
